I am now a permanent sanctuary dog

I was dropped off at a Banfield Pet Clinic in Columbus, Ohio. I needed medical care and the woman said she could not afford to care for me. A nice woman that worked there took me in but quickly realized she could not keep me either, so she called Harlequin Haven Great Dane Rescue and asked if they could take care of me. Within a few hours of arriving at the rescue I got to go for another car ride this time it was to see a Veterinarian. Other then having a skin infection, worms and needing the proper nutrition which I should still be getting from my mommy, I am okay. I weigh 4 pounds so am within the normal weight range for my age. Only time will tell if I have any issues due to being taken from my mommy too soon!! I now have a wonderful name it means hope and I am full of hope so it is perfect!

Update March 21: I have not yet been at the rescue a week and am already doing much better. I am getting lots of yummy baby food and my little belly feels so much better! It taste almost as good as my moms food did so I am very happy! My skin infection is clearing up so all is going well! I now weigh 6.8 pounds!
Update March 28: All is going well I now weigh 8 pounds. Grandma says that I need to interact with the other Danes so that I know proper behavior since I was taken from my mommy so young. So Rylee has agreed to be my mentor. Below is a couple of pictures of me with my auntie Rylee.
Update April 4: I continue to gain weigh and I now weigh 10 pounds. I am a very happy puppy, I love to play with my toys and Rylee and I LOVE to explore!! Grandma says I should have been named after a woman explorer. I can not get enough of exploring to see all the new exciting things in the world!
Update April 11: I now weigh 11 pounds and I am getting tall!! Grandma says I will be a tall and lean girl if I keep this up!! I have another playmate now his name is Micah, he was found as a stray!! Grandma tried taking pics of us yesterday but she said something about they all came out a big blur! Aunt Ryle and Aunt Marie supervise our playtimes so that we both learn to be good dogs just like them!!! Well gotta go eat my breakfast
Update April 19: I now weigh 13 pounds!!
Update April 27: Sorry I was too busy playing to remember to update my webpage! I have gained 4 pounds in the last week! I now weigh 17 pounds!! Grandma says I am growing like a weed!! Not sure what that means though! Okay gotta go play now!

Update May 23: Sorry I have not updated my webpage in a while but have been busy playing and just being a puppy! I now weight 33 pounds!! Grandma still says I am growing like a weed and will be a tall lean girl. I keep telling her I am watching my girly figure!! I will go see the vet again this week and hopefully soon will be available for adoption!
Update May 30: Great news I was spayed on Tuesday and am NOW ready for adoption!!! I am looking forward to finding my forever home!

Update June 10: I am very excited since my special day of going to my new home approaches but I must say I was a bit disappointed that out of all the applications that were sent in to adopt me that none were interested in any dog but me! I guess I should feel special but instead I am disappointed for the other dogs. There are so many wonderful dogs here yet no others were even looked at!

Please can you spare a few dollars to help the Rescue continue to help me and other Danes like me? It would be greatly  appreciated. Without the Rescue who knows where we would have ended up!!
